EWS Terms of use
EWS Terms of Use
Effective date: 12 September 2026
1 About EWS and these terms
These terms concern EWS (EirikWStreams), the creator brand at EirikWStreams.com. “EWS”, “we” and “us” describe the provider of EWS content and community benefits. Contact EWS through the contact options on the website or member platform. Use the support details supplied with your order for purchase-related matters.
These terms cover the EWS website, creator content, community participation and creator-delivered membership benefits. They apply alongside the EWS Disclaimer and applicable purchase terms. The EWS Privacy Notice explains personal-information handling; accepting these terms is not blanket consent to data processing.
Fourthwall is the seller of products and memberships bought through our Fourthwall storefront. EWS provides the advertised creator membership benefits. Fourthwall’s applicable transaction terms govern purchases from it. These EWS terms govern our relationship with you for the activities described here and do not make Fourthwall a party to them or amend its terms. Purchases through another seller remain subject to that seller’s applicable purchase terms.
Terms must be made available before they apply. A later update does not remove an earlier purchase promise or retrospectively reduce agreed benefits. Mandatory legal rights take priority over conflicting wording.
2 Accounts and eligibility
Follow the age and eligibility requirements of the platform and any additional requirements clearly stated for a particular service. Where a parent’s or guardian’s agreement is required, obtain it before registering or purchasing. Do not misrepresent your age or identity.
Provide accurate information needed to administer your account and protect your login details. Do not impersonate another person or use an account without permission. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly through the platform’s support tools. You are not automatically responsible for activity beyond your control or for a security failure caused by us or the platform.
3 What we offer
EWS provides creative products, faith-based reflections, general educational material, community participation and personal perspectives. Our content and creator exchanges do not provide medical or mental-health treatment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or professional legal, financial or investment advice. No particular personal, spiritual, health or financial outcome is guaranteed. The EWS Disclaimer explains these boundaries in more detail.
Your product or membership description identifies what is included. Personal access means the communication format and benefits agreed in that offer, not access to the creator’s home, private telephone number or unspecified services. An advertised personal response will not be replaced with an undisclosed automated or staff-written response presented as the creator’s own.
Messages and comments are not monitored continuously. EWS is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for urgent assistance. This boundary does not excuse failure to deliver an ordinary response or benefit we expressly promised.
4 Purchases memberships and changes
Prices, payment currency, renewal arrangements, benefits and promotional conditions are shown in the relevant offer and checkout. A recurring membership renews as disclosed until cancelled. Use the subscription controls in your account or the support contact supplied with the purchase if you need help cancelling. Refunds and cancellation are separate matters; requesting one does not necessarily request the other.
Benefits may differ between offers. A membership includes only what is expressly described, including any entitlement to other tiers, downloadable content or future releases. Cancellation, access duration, download rights and any withdrawal rights remain governed by the agreement at purchase and applicable law.
We may change future offerings. Material changes to existing recurring arrangements require the notice, consent and cancellation opportunity required by the applicable agreement and law. If we cannot supply an agreed benefit, we will explain the issue and address an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required. This page does not introduce undisclosed messaging caps or remove existing entitlements.
5 Your comments and contributions
You choose whether and what to contribute. You are responsible for the material you submit and for having the necessary rights or permissions to share it. Do not submit material that is unlawful, knowingly false about another person, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, fraudulent or infringing. Do not disclose another person’s private information without lawful authority. Do not post spam, malicious links or material intended to compromise another person’s account.
Please avoid sharing medical records, identity documents, payment details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. You can participate without publishing your private life. Respectful disagreement, constructive criticism and honest reviews are welcome.
Members speak for themselves. A contribution is not automatically an EWS statement or endorsement simply because it appears on the platform or has not been removed. We cannot independently verify every account, opinion or recommendation. Consider a member’s statements critically, particularly before making a significant decision.
Your responsibility for your own contributions does not waive EWS’s obligations concerning its conduct, lawful moderation, data protection or statutory consumer rights.
6 Visibility of group comments
Comments are shared with the audience permitted to view the relevant post or group. Public comments may be available to anyone; restricted comments can be seen by eligible participants and authorised administrators. Membership restrictions do not create professional confidentiality.
Other participants may copy or screenshot content despite these rules. We cannot guarantee control over copies held by other people. That is not permission to redistribute someone else’s information. Do not copy, publish or distribute another member’s private or restricted contributions without permission or another lawful basis. This does not prevent lawful reporting of misconduct, obtaining advice or exercising legal rights.
We will not deliberately make a restricted personal contribution public or use it as an identifiable marketing story merely because you posted it. Public promotional reuse requires separate appropriate permission or another valid legal basis; these terms do not supply blanket permission.
7 Private messages
Direct messages are distinct from group comments and are not intended for the general membership audience. The intended recipient and any authorised personnel with necessary access may handle them, together with the platform providers supporting the service. The Privacy Notice identifies how this information is used and the relevant access arrangements.
Private messaging is not a therapist–patient or lawyer–client relationship and does not carry those professional privileges. Do not use it to send passwords, payment-card details, medical records or unnecessary intimate information. EWS will not publish private messages as promotional content based solely on membership acceptance.
The same conduct rules apply to private messages. Where a message is reported, necessary information may be reviewed to investigate abuse, protect participants or comply with law. We do not claim unrestricted monitoring access to every conversation between users on an external platform.
8 Moderation reports and review
We will make reasonable efforts to moderate the community and review concerns brought to our attention. We do not promise that every contribution is checked before publication or that moderation is available around the clock. This does not remove any duty to act on unlawful content or valid notices under applicable law.
To report a concern, use the available reporting tool or the contact options described in section 1. Identify the relevant post or message, its location or date, and why you believe it violates these rules or the law. Share only the information reasonably needed for the report. For a direct threat or emergency, contact the appropriate authorities rather than waiting for moderation.
Depending on the issue, we may request an edit, remove or limit the visibility of content, issue a warning, restrict participation or suspend access. Measures will be proportionate to the circumstances. We may act immediately for serious abuse or safety concerns. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain a material restriction and how you can ask us to review it.
Contact us if you believe a moderation action was mistaken. We will consider relevant information rather than treating disagreement with the creator as misconduct. Paid-access restrictions will be handled consistently with the purchased benefits and applicable cancellation and refund rights. A participation restriction does not automatically cancel subscription billing.
9 Ownership and permission to display contributions
You retain rights in your original contributions. When you submit content to an EWS community feature, you give us a non-exclusive permission to host, display, transmit and technically format it only as reasonably needed to operate that feature for its intended audience and moderate it. Service providers may perform these functions for us. This permission does not authorise unrelated advertising, sale of your content or public reuse of a private contribution.
The permission lasts only as needed for those functions and any lawful, necessary retention. Deletion requests are addressed under the Privacy Notice. Copies lawfully made by others or held temporarily in restricted backups may require separate handling.
Polls and suggestions inform creative choices; they do not guarantee production or create business ownership, royalties, employment or commissions. A separate agreement is needed before we commercially reproduce a member’s original artwork. Do not submit confidential inventions or third-party material you are not authorised to share.
10 Ebooks merchandise and previews
The applicable listing identifies a product’s format, content, materials and specifications. Digital books are supplied for personal use unless a different licence is expressly stated. Statutory exceptions and accessibility rights remain unaffected. Public uploading, resale or commercial reproduction of complete files requires permission where not otherwise allowed by law.
Concepts and forthcoming collections are previews unless expressly offered for sale or preorder. Minor screen and production variations do not excuse defects or material differences from the purchased description. Follow product sizing, care and safety information. Nothing here makes every made-to-order item non-returnable or imposes a blanket no-refund rule.
11 Privacy and third-party services
Our handling of personal information is explained in the EWS Privacy Notice. Fourthwall and any other provider may have separate notices for their activities. An external link is not an endorsement of all content or conduct on that service. EWS remains responsible for its own applicable obligations.
Participation does not itself authorise unrelated marketing, sensitive-data processing, publication of private stories or the use of personal information for an incompatible purpose.
12 Responsibility and legal remedies
Each party remains responsible to the extent provided by applicable law and the agreement. These terms do not transfer all risk from EWS to a member. EWS does not undertake services outside the agreed scope or guarantee the accuracy of every third-party contribution.
Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, defective products, or violations of mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Remedies for misleading descriptions or non-delivery remain available.
No broad consumer indemnity, new arbitration requirement or waiver of access to courts or regulators is created by these terms. Mandatory protections available under applicable law continue to apply. If a provision is ineffective, the remainder applies only to the extent legally valid.
13 Updates and contact
We will identify the effective date of revised terms and communicate material changes as required. Merely posting a change does not obtain consent where consent is required, nor erase an existing purchase promise. Keep the terms supplied with your purchase.
Contact EWS using the options described in section 1 about these terms, community concerns or creator-delivered benefits. Use the purchase-support details supplied with your order for billing and product matters, and the EWS Privacy Notice for information-rights requests.
